MNEMIC Part Ways With Singer TONY JELENCOVICH
April 17, 2006Danish metallers MNEMIC have parted ways with their Swedish singer of the past six months, Tony Jelencovich. "We wish Tony all the best for the future, and a replacement will be announced soon," the band write on their web site.
Jelencovich (formerly of TRANSPORT LEAGUE and B-THONG) joined MNEMIC In September 2005 as the replacement for Michael Bøgballe. The band's sophomore album, "The Audio Injected Soul", was released in September 2004 via Nuclear Blast Records. The follow-up to 2003's "Mechanical Spin Phenomena" was recorded at AntFarm Studios in Aarhus, Denmark with producer Tue Madsen.
Jelencovich is currently the frontman for at least two other bands, M.A.N and ANGEL BLAKE.
